From August 12 to 16, 2024, the “Rural Revitalization Public Welfare Tour — China Packaging in Action,” hosted by the China Packaging Federation and co-organized by Shanghai Techsun, was successfully held in Qingyang, Gansu Province.

The event brought together Han Xueshan, Vice President and Executive Secretary-General of the China Packaging Federation; Wu Hongjun, Deputy Secretary-General; Du Junhai, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Packaging Corporation; Fang Changqing, Dean of the School of Printing, Packaging and Digital Media at Xi’an University of Technology; Xu Linyihui, Chief Executive Officer of Shanghai Techsun; along with many heads of well-known brands.

Centered around the themes of “eco-friendly packaging, rural revitalization, green agriculture, and educational support,” the event was not only a profound integration of technology and ideas, but also an active exploration of sustainable development pathways.
Participants actively shared the latest technological achievements and cutting-edge trends in the field of eco-friendly packaging, and conducted field visits to observe the results of rural revitalization in the Qingyang region. During the tour, they conducted in-depth inspections of a modern green agriculture system featuring apples, edible fungi, and crops; ecological governance for biodiversity conservation; the cultivation and packaging of traditional Chinese medicinal herbs; and innovative achievements in the lamb industry chain within animal husbandry. Notably, the event also reached out to rural primary schools, conveying care through concrete actions and supporting educational and science popularization efforts in underprivileged areas.

Upholding its mission of “Technology for Good,” Shanghai Techsun deeply engaged in this event, forging ahead in sustainable development and public welfare, practicing ESG principles, and actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.
This event was not only a profound discussion and exchange of ideas on eco-friendly packaging concepts, but also a vivid practice of agricultural modernization, ecological governance, and cultural heritage preservation.
Moving forward, Shanghai Techsun will stay true to its original aspirations, advancing hand in hand with peers from all sectors. It will continue to delve deeply into the green transformation path of the packaging industry, strengthen collaboration with government, academia, and all segments of society, and jointly explore more diversified models of sustainable development.
